Hard drive erasure procedures adhere to US Department of Defense (DoD) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards. Inoperable hard drives are physically destroyed so that all data and software are unrecoverable. On-site destruction and certified data destruction options are also available.

Processed equipment can be remarketed through a variety of channels including online stores, Internet auction sites and though a network of resellers. Retire-IT provides recycling for equipment that fails testing or does not meet minimum specifications. Retire-IT follows all applicable state, federal and EPA regulations for the proper disposal of electronic scrap. Retire-IT ensures your equipment is processed in accordance to your specified requirements, including R2/RIOS and/or e-Stewards.

Ensure you are receiving the true Fair Market Value (FMV) for your unwanted equipment. Ensure you are not indirectly paying too much for IT asset disposal. Retire-IT will resolve billing errors and recover overpayments for you. Send us a recent settlement report to review. Retire-IT will verify the contract service fees are correct, and we will validate the fair market value of equipment that has been remarketed.
