Electronic Recyclers Lie!
U.S. Government Audit Reveals Vendor Hypocrisy
The U.S. Governmental Accountability Office (GAO) issued a very damning report about so called environmentally friendly disposal/recycling companies. GAO investigators posed as foreign buyers and found 43 U.S. electronics recyclers willing to illegally export non-working CRT monitors overseas - these very same recyclers "publicly tout their exemplary environmental practices."
